What a Summer!!!

After a very busy summer, we finally found time to update our blog. We hope you enjoy!!

Its Been a While.. A Long While

For those of you that still may periodically check our blog, we are both still alive and well. We have been married now for just short of two months, and things are going great! We have both started school, and are both keeping very busy with work as well. Other than being very busy nothing earth shattering has happened, but be assured that everything is going great, and we are not lying face down in a ditch some where. We are going to get back on the blog-wagon now that things have settled down a little. Check back for a photo update.

Oh the things you see!!

In our quest for various decorations for our wedding, we have come across many great and interesting "treasures." I have said to Mallory, on more than one occasion, "I can't believe someone made that crap, and in more disbelief that there is someone out there that would buy said crap."  We thought it would be fun to post some of the beauties that we have seen lately. Hockey NIght

On Saturday I got a call from Scotty asking if I had plans for the evening, after which he let me know that he had tickets for the Grizzlies game. So Mallory, Me, Justin, Tara*2, and Chad all went to the game. It was fun to hang out and the see them play. The highlight of the night was not the Grizzlies 2-0 victory, but rather the female bodybuilder that sat 1 row in front of us. She could have take our entire group down at the same time. All in all it was a great hockey night in Salt Lake City.

Movie Review Number 2

So I decided that I (Mallory) would finally add an entry to the blog. Gavin and I went and saw Happy Valley on opening night. I figured that since I deal with recovering addicts at work it was worth seeing. It was a really good documentary that shows how destructive addiction can be. I learned a lot from it and highly recommend it. It is fairly depressing so plan on doing something fun afterward. Overall, I give it a 4.8 (keep in mind that I am going into pharmacy so this was right up my alley). Gavin gives it a 3.7.
